Visitors
Visiting Dorothy Stinson School
We want our visitors to feel welcome when they come in. The office staff asks that anytime you come on campus, you sign in and get a visitor sticker from the office before you proceed to your child's classroom. This is done for the safety of your child as well as the rest of the children. If you are on campus and do not have a visitor's badge, you will be sent back to the office to get one before you are allowed to proceed to your destination.
We are still going to limit the number of parents and visitors that are on campus daily. The fewer interruptions our students experience during their learning, the more they are involved in the academic learning that is taking place in the class. This provides the teachers with more uninterrupted instruction, because students are not called to the office as much. Every time a student is called out of a classroom, that student is missing prime instruction from the teacher.
